YOUR LIFE - Today you woke up to a brand new day. You didn't ask to wake up but you did. Many others didn't. Thank God for having created you with a purpose; a unique purpose set apart to do his will. He knitted you in your mother's womb and knows the number of hairs on your head. (Psalms 139:13) (Luke 12:7). He formulated you for a purpose and he wants nothing but the very best for you (Jeremiah 29:11). His plan for you is certain and settled because Those He predestined He called. Those He called He justified. Those He justified HE glorified (Romans 8:30).
HIS LOVE - God is love. His love cannot be acquired nor comprehended carnally. His very nature is the epitome of the love that many people are searching for, but simply struggle to find. It's indescribable, incomprehensible and unutterable. But one thing that is for sure is that his love is kind, it does not envy, it does not parade itself nor behave rudely. It is not provoked, it seeks not evil and it does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in truth. Love never fails (I Corinthians 13:4-6). What greater love is there than a father who sends his one and only begotten son to sacrifice his life for humanity?
HIS MERCY - God is merciful and his mercy is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward those who fear Him. He created you in his likeness and wants the very best for you. He looks past our iniquities through grace via Christ Jesus our Lord and forgives us time and time again. (Psalm 103:3-17).
HIS COMPASSION - God loves you and cares about you deeply. So much so, that he pities us as his children because He knows our frame (Psalms 103:13-14). God heals us when we are broken hearted and comes close to us when we are contrite in spirit (Psalms 34:17-18) . He hears the prayers of the righteous and delivers them out of their troubles. Through His mercies we are not consumed because His compassions do not fail (Lamentations 3:22).
HIS SOVEREIGNTY - He is El Shaddai. Adonai. Elohim. Yahweh. Abba Father. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. The I AM. Those are just some attributes that describe the Lord our God. His sovereignty has no end and His throne is heaven is indeed established (Psalms 103:22). For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, all things have been created through him and for him (Colossians 1:16).
HIS POWER - There is nothing that God cannot do. What is impossible through man is possible through God (Matthew 19:26). There's a lot of things that we cannot do merely by our own strength and our dependence on God is what perfects his power in our weakness. His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9).
HIS FAITHFULNESS - God is not man that He should lie. When He says something it indeed comes to pass. His word is settled in heaven. His word becoming flesh, among many other things, is one of the credible testaments of the Lord's faithfulness. (John 1:14-18) (Isaiah 40:8) (Psalms 119:160).
HIS HOLINESS - God's complete consecration enables us to to draw to him as our source of sanctification. His majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds doing wonders (Exodus 15:11). As we ingest his word as daily bread, we become reformed through sanctification and we are moulded in accordance to His will. We are only clay and He is our potter; we are all the work of God's hand (Isaiah 64:8).
HIS PROTECTION - As part of many things God is, He is also our protector. He is our refuge and strength in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1). In Him we find assurance, fear is extinguished and confidence reestablished. He our shelter (Psalms 91:1).
HIS WONDERS - God's grandiose wonders cannot be fathomed and his miracles cannot be counted (Job 5:9). As a God of detail He never misses, never forsakes and never lacks. He has the power to supply for your every need according to the riches in Christ Jesus our Lord (Philippians 4:19).
