PAIN INTO PULCHRITUDE

It takes a level of faith to be able to confidently say that you fully trust God. A God who we cannot see and whose ways and thoughts are not like ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Now, how do exercise faith? Well, circumstances are put in your life to give you the opportunity to practice it.
The thing is, God has already told you the truth about your life. If you are yet to find this out then you ought to seek it where the treasure lies; in the book of promises (Matthew 7:7). We established from the gratitude blog that the word of God is settled in heaven, which renders it the absolute truth. This means that the bible is the book of promises through which the word (God's promise over your life) is solidified.
What does this mean? God has already done the heavy lifting. But He has also created us to have free will and like the gracious Father that He is, He will allow you to make your own choices about things in life so that your learning becomes easier.
Yes, most things are permissible, but it doesn't mean that we should do them (I Corinthians 10:23). God is not a coercive God. If we live to believe that God is love, it makes sense to say that God simply cannot be coercive.
So I say this, to say the following. The promises are there, the choice is yours. Align your carnal frame, posture your heart to be attuned to the things of above and not the things of the world and watch as things unfold for you (Colossians 3:2).
Pain should never govern your steps; trauma informed responses can be costly. Rather, learn to acknowledge the pain you have endured in the past and allow it to better inform your decisions in a healthy and righteous way.
May God richly bless you and divinely sustain you throughout every step of the way.
