Things will not always immediately make sense… but they will

Have you ever found yourself questioning why things are happening in the way they are? Have you grown tedious of constantly being let down and and being weighed down by perpetual disappointments? Has your spirit grown weary to the point that hope is no longer to be seen?

Most of us have been there. Life has a funny way of reminding us that we are not fully in control. Most of our lives we have been taught, had access or exposed to forms of escapism that temporarily relieve the pressures of life. But actually, most of the worldly forms of escapisms used as coping mechanisms prove futile in the long run. The byproduct tends to be a formed habitual pattern that only serves as a bandage to the wound rather than the actual cure.

To obtain the right attributes in dealing with the adversities of life, we ought to draw to the very source who created us Himself and that’s Jesus Christ. He is the way the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through Him. John 14:16. There lies the ultimate peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) the joy that is renewed every morning (Psalm 30:5) and a strength that is perfected in your weakness (II Corinthians 12:9) and enables us to do all things (Philippians 4:13).

Of course the journey isn’t easy but we were never told it would be; however it is certainly worth it.

May the Lord divinely sustain you and keep you throughout every step of the way. All praisss to the Most High.
